AER Maerdy Raise the Bar

A recent visit from a large customer has resulted in us receiving the ‘seal of approval’ from their Quality and Technical department. This just demonstrates that we have succeeded in raising the bar to even higher standards and will lead to our market share growing.

Stand-out show

Sales teams from Foam Techniques, Avon TSA and AER Stafford attended the Advance Engineering Show in Birmingham in October. The stand showcased our ability to cut intricate shapes from foam blocks and, over its two days, attracted a good deal of visitors.

ADF, New York

The AER Maerdy team attended the ADF exhibition in New York again in September where meetings were held with all our global aerosol customers.

AGM Bristol expansion

In the last few months we have expanded into the final unit in our terrace! This gives us much needed dedicated storage space and more room to grow.

Finished goods store

The finished goods store at AER Stafford has recently undergone a refurbishment with the removal of the existing racking which was replaced with a more efficient layout. The floor was also professionally re-painted and along with the new LED lighting, the environment has improved considerably.

New automotive wins for AER Stafford

Our unique wheel protection product range has been recently extended with the introduction of a larger 23-inch disc.

New mezzanine for P&D

The extension to our mezzanine floor has now been completed allowing us to create a very efficient materials handling system for all the presses.

AER Stafford Investment

The new equipment has now been installed; two Cannon Shelley vacuum forming machines and a Bipel heated platen press are now fully operational. The heated press will supplement the five axis waterjet machine that was installed earlier this year.

New QHSE room at TSA

We have continued to invest to improve quality and service levels. A new room has been built for the QHSE team. The room will also house our new CMM machine which is a very sophisticated device that allows us to measure complex parts that might have up to 50 different dimensions. This will meet the demands of many of our customers, particularly those who purchase injection moulded parts.

Coffee & Cakes raise funds

AGM Bristol, P&D and Avon TSA all held a Coffee Morning in September raising funds for charity. A truly epic quantity of cakes were baked and consumed by everyone, resulting in a staggering £501 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.
