£100k milestone for hospice

Over the last six years, Avon Group and its staff have donated £100,000 to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) – having achieved this milestone in May 2022.

Since 2016, the company has sponsored a nurse at the charity’s Charlton Farm hospice in North Somerset which provides vital care for children with life-limiting conditions.

The figure has been raised from corporate support and the enthusiastic fundraising efforts of staff.

Amanda Gallagher, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser at CHSW, said: “We are extremely grateful to Avon Group for their amazing, ongoing generosity over a sustained period of time when we rely so heavily on donations to be able to deliver our services. This has been particularly crucial during the pandemic when we have experienced a much more challenging time for fundraising.
