Group makes two more acquisitions

Two new businesses have recently joined Avon Group.

The acquisition of Telford-based Acousta Products Ltd, and Hull-based AntiVibe, enlarges the Group to ten companies.

Acousta is a well-respected manufacturer of acoustic foam and rubber products for a wide variety of industrial customers in the automotive, engineering and packaging sectors.

AntiVibe is a specialist manufacturer of power transmission couplings and precision-made technical rubber and plastic components. These are used in a wide range of industrial machinery as well as in the automotive market – both in cars and heavy plant.

Mark Rushin, Avon Group Director, said: “Both Acousta and AntiVibe have strong reputations in the markets they serve and becoming part of our Group will create exciting new opportunities for their future growth.”

“Their addition to the Group will enable us to further our ambitions to target new markets and strengthen our position as a leading player in the UK’s industrial component manufacturing sector.”
