Group makes two acquisitions

Avon Group has made two key acquisitions in the last 6 months. The first saw Edgewest Plastics (UK) Ltd join the Group in October and was followed by the acquisition of Scandura Ltd who joined in December

These are two very important acquisitions for the Group that consolidate Avon Group’s position as a major player in the UK industrial component manufacturing sector. Edgewest Plastics, based near Cheltenham, supply plastic-moulded components to some of the UK’s largest manufacturers of plumbing and bathroom products. Scandura, based in Corby are the longest-established gasket manufacturer in the UK and have unrivalled expertise supplying specialist seals to industry.
