Employees from all our Group businesses attended this year’s Automechanika exhibition in Birmingham.
Automechanika is an important show for Avon Group as it brings together over 9,300 visitors from the automotive aftermarket sector. Our presence this year was highly visible with a modified stand design and attention-grabbing displays such as a full size car door. Coupled with an iPad display, this enabled us to demonstrate the wide range of products we supply for vehicle doors, from simple anti-rattle strips to complex injection mouldings.
Also on the stand was a display of a working air duct with air blowing through it! This clearly demonstrated the quality of our product and how quiet and efficient it is.
North East Automotive Expo
In addition to Automechanika, we recently exhibited in Sunderland at the North East Automotive Expo 2017.
This is the third year the event has taken place at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light and is the region’s only event focussed solely on the automotive sector. The Sunderland area is home to the UK’s largest cluster of automotive businesses.
The show plays a key role in increasing the profile of the sector and showcases the region’s significant and growing automotive capability
