The latest investment in automated equipment at Avon Engineered Rubber is now in full production. This is a game changer in the manufacture of moulded tubes for the production of cup gaskets for the aerosol industry.
Avon Engineered Rubber is already the second largest manufacturer of aerosol gaskets in the world, and this level of automation will now be unrivalled by any other company. The new process will not only mean increased capacity but a safer, higher quality product ensuring superior gasket retention, improve tolerance and wall thickness.

Additional investment in a new high capacity press, designed to our requirements, will mean a significant increase in capability for our stem gasket production. The new press will Increase production capacity by over 50% from current levels and will ensure we can meet the increasing demand from our customers around the world.

With extensive in-house knowledge of rubber compounds, we’re developing rubber-based products that perform to increasingly demanding criteria. In aerosol seal production, this means we can accurately analyse a product and improve the formulation of the materials used.
