Avon Group show “incredible support” for Children’s Hospice South West
Avon Group’s support for Children’s Hospice South West has been hailed as ‘incredible’ by their fundraising team.
The group has boosted the hospice to the tune of almost £150,000 through a long-standing corporate partnership with the charity.
Across three hospices, it provides care and professional family support for babies, children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.
“Your donations to date stand at an incredible £145,000,” wrote Amanda Gallagher, Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, Children’s Hospice South West.
“We can’t thank you enough for your continued support. At a time when the cost of living continues to increase, your support could pay for vital support for our families, specifically, it could pay for one of our nurses for over two and a half years.
“Nurse recruitment is a continuing challenge across the country, but I am pleased to say we currently have a full bank of nurses on our team at Charlton Farm and have plans in place to maximise retention.”
Mark Rushin, Avon Group Director, commented: “There is a real place in everyone’s hearts at Avon Group for Children’s Hospice South West.
“We’re proud to be able to support a charity which does such fantastic work providing the very highest levels of care and compassion to children and young people with life-limiting conditions, their families and those who care for them.
“We know that every penny of the funds raised by Avon Group will help families as they navigate their way through tough times and that’s what will continue to inspire our fundraising activities going forward.”
