Truly World Class

Avon Engineered Rubber, already a World Class company, was delighted to enable a local youngster to also achieve World Class status by becoming the British Junior World Champion in Karate and also represent the UK in the World Karate Championships. Mali received the much needed financial support from the business to enable her to travel and compete for the title, something she would otherwise not have been able to do. “This proved to be a great way to support a talented youngster in our community and demonstrated our strong values in Avon Group for corporate social responsibility” said Vince Minchella, Commercial Manager.
